  I hired a Moving Helper through U-Haul in Mt Vernon NY and it was one of the most unprofessional and dishonest experiences I have ever had. The crew never showed up to load my U-Boxes, which arrived 12 hours late. My wife, two neighbors, and I had to move every single box and piece of furniture ourselves. We have photos and videos proving that no helpers were present. After midnight the supposed crew leader pressured me into giving him the payment release code, claiming the U-Boxes would not be taken to the New Rochelle facility otherwise. This was trickery and extortion since no service was provided at all. We endured stress, exhaustion, and unnecessary delays. We even waited to file this complaint until our U-Boxes had left New Rochelle for Texas, as the mover bragged about having influence there and we feared retaliation. The service was never rendered, the conduct was dishonest, and U-Haul should investigate this provider.
